MP encourages people under 30 to register for covid vaccine:
Banff and Buchan MP David Duguid has encouraged under-30s in Banff and Buchan to register online for their covid vaccine as the NHS opens its online registration form.
From 24 May 2021 until 4 June 2021, those aged 18-29 can register for a coronavirus vaccine appointment online.
Over-30s are currently being processed in the normal way and will be invited to receive their vaccination by letter in the ’blue envelope.’
Latest statistics show that over 60 million doses have been injected across the UK.
Scottish Conservative MP for Banff and Buchan David Duguid said:
“The UK has one of the highest reported uptakes of the covid vaccines in the world and with the help of the NHS, our British armed forces, volunteers and everyone else involved, we are making fantastic progress in rolling out the vaccine.
“The registration for 18-29 year olds is now open until 4 June and I strongly encourage everyone who is eligible to register for their jab.
“We are all in this together and together, by getting vaccinated, we can beat the virus, protect our loved ones and begin the UK recovery from the pandemic.”
