MP expresses outrage at Fraserburgh school vandalism
Local MP for Banff and Buchan David Duguid has expressed his outrage at the latest in a spate of vandalism after Fraserburgh North School was hit with offensive graffiti.
Originally shared on a community Facebook page, Fraserburgh North School was covered in graffiti including profanity and offensive language.
This follows on from a spate of vandalism across Aberdeenshire in recent months including at the Den play park in Turriff and Aden Park in Mintlaw.
Mr Duguid recently met with local Police Scotland Area Commander Chief Inspector Harrison to discuss these incidents and both agreed it was vital that anyone who sees or knows anything about these attacks reports it to the police on 101 so that they can act.
Banff and Buchan MP David Duguid said:
“The whole of Fraserburgh will share my outrage at this latest incident of vandalism.
“There is no place for this behaviour and to target a primary school is beyond the pale.
“I would like to remind my constituents again to report anything you know or see about this or any incident of vandalism to 101 so the police are aware and can act at the soonest opportunity.”
