Banff and Buchan MP David Duguid has congratulated a local company that was named in the latest London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) ‘1,000 companies to inspire Britain’ report.
Motive Offshore Group were one of 58 firms in Scotland to make the prestigious list.
The company is based in Boyndie, near Banff, and specialises in the manufacture, rental and servicing of high-capacity winches, umbilical testing and deployment equipment.
The annual LSEG publication profiles the most dynamic and fastest-growing small to medium enterprises (SMEs) across the UK.
Scottish Conservative MP for Banff and Buchan David Duguid said:
“It’s great to see a locally-based company recognised in this way.
“The north-east of Scotland is often described as the engine room of the Scottish economy, and it is easy to see why.
“Companies like Motive are driving growth and providing high-skilled jobs.
“I have written to Motive to offer my congratulations.
"My understanding is that this is the latest of many awards for this company and I wish them every success in the future.”
