MP backs national campaign to help fight against blood cancer

Banff and Buchan MP David Duguid has backed a national campaign to help the fight against blood cancer.  

The Anthony Nolan ‘Communities vs Blood Cancer’ initiative is appealing for more people to join the register of stem cell donors.

I was very pleased to see so many people in Banff and Buchan were able to take advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out offer of discounted meals at local restaurants.

Figures released by the UK Government this week showed that 66,000 cut-price lunches and dinners were claimed.

Chancellor, Rishi Sunak’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme provided over 6 million discounted meals across , 66,000 of which were in Banff and Buchan.

A total of 89 restaurants, bars and cafes registered for the scheme in Banff and Buchan, out of a total of 8,543 across .
