North East still lagging on broadband

David Duguid has welcomed the news of new super and ultra-fast broadband connections in the north east. With additional funding from the UK Government and others, more and more local businesses are getting connected to decent broadband.

David helps secure Memsie speed limit review

A review is to be carried out of the current 40mph speed limit in memsie after residents raised concerns about speeding through the village. David Duguid took those concerns to the Council who have now agreed to carry out a review.

More than 10,000 jobs in Banff and Buchan have been protected by the UK Government’s Job Retention Scheme, official figures have shown.

HMRC has published statistics for every part of the country which shows the huge extent of the furlough scheme launched due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
