David Duguid and a member of his staff were delighted to be awarded a Community Spirit Award from Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action for their work helping the community during the lockdown.
David and his team provided prescription pick up and delivery services and grocery runs for vulnerable and shielding residents across the constituency and his office dealt with over 400 enquiries for assistance during the lockdown.
David said,
I am humbled to have been nominated and presented this award. Lockdown was an experience no-one has had to deal with before and presented unique challenges for a lot of people in our community. It is our duty to help people in need in times like these and I was glad to be able to do my part in the community.
